The crew arrived in Forsyth, MT late in the evening on Monday, September 16. Tuesday morning, they pushed the boats off by dawn to begin rowing the long, slow stretch of river between Forsyth and Miles City. After spending the night on a remote island between the two towns, they again rose early to cover the final miles to arrive in Miles City, MT.
